Fitzroy Falls – Jamberoo, NSW

Posted onJuly 19, 2022July 19, 2022 australia, HIke, nature Comments are off 73 Views

Just up the mountain road from our Australian hosts’ home in Jamberoo is Fitzroy Falls National Park. Per the name this park is most famous for Fitzroy Falls, with water flowing over 80m (260 feet!) to Kangaroo Valley below.

Unfortunately, recent severe rainfall (not just what we experienced a few weeks ago) has damaged significant portions of the park’s walking trails, so we did not get to see everything on offer here. Luckily, the park itself was open and we were able to follow the East Rim/Wildflower Trail, featuring a view of the falls and several lookouts over the valley. Enjoy the hike!
