On the north side of Busan you’ll find several beachside districts and neighborhoods. Arguably the most famous of these is Haeundae Beach, a 1km long stretch of white sand completely surrounded by urban development.
It is possible to hike here, but we took advantage of one of the more unique experiences on offer – the Haeundae Beach Train. For a small fee (about $7USD) you can ride the train back and forth between Haeundae and nearby Songjeong Beach, with several places to stop in between.
The ride itself is impressive – train seats actually face sideways so you can look out towards the ocean the entire time. The amazing views just don’t stop!
Enjoy this video of our ride on this one-of-a-kind train. As a bonus, on our return journey we stopped at the Daritdol Skywalk to walk out over the ocean waves, and caught a beautiful sunset at the end of the day.
