Kiama, NSW is home to the World’s Largest Blowhole (already featured on this site); but less well known is the “Little Kiama Blowhole” about 3km down the coast.
Despite it’s smaller size, the relative “underground” status of the Little Blowhole means fences stopping people from jumping in (this does happen at the famous blowhole) are unnecessary – you can walk right up to this one!
Per locals, sea cave erosion is making the Little Blowhole “better” with larger and more consistent spouts over time; while the opposite is happening at the Big Blowhole. We got some pretty good action from each…judge for yourself!
