After a few days in Sydney’s Central Business district, we traveled out a few miles to the world-famous Bondi (the pronunciation, we learned, is “Bond-Eye”) Beach. It’s the middle of winter and off-season here, so not all that busy. Every day there were plenty of surfers with full-body wetsuits in the water, but very few swimmers.
Still, the ocean was calling. There’s also a well known ocean pool at the Bondi Icebergs swimming club.
65 degrees in the air, 55 in the water – but we have to do it, right?
See if we jump in!
