Welcome to the second leg of our travels – the beautiful island nation of Fiji!
We initially planned to head straight from our arrival point (Nadi Airport on Vita Levu Island, one of the main population centers) to a homestay in the Yasawa island chain. However, the flexible nature of our trip allowed us to actually save money by flying in earlier and spending a few days in Nadi.
We made the most of that option and spent a few days exploring – this video captures some of our travels around the area. Beachfront bars (and sunsets), a trip to the Sleeping Giant Botanical Garden, and a mud bath/hot springs Spa. Enjoy!
P.S. “Bula” is the Fijian word for hello. The people on the island are incredibly friendly, so we were saying it a lot during our time here!
