Apologies for the delay with this news. Back in Jamberoo, we got into Andy’s Friday night habit of going to the local Bowling Club (Lawn Bowling – a big thing in Australia) for drinks and dinner.
Our first time there, we noticed a raffle going on – but the prizes weren’t just anything. Raffle winners got to choose from a variety of meat platters to take home. Trays were sourced from the local butcher shop, which is next door to the club.

Of course we had to participate, so on our final Friday at the club we all bought tickets – I think they were $5 for 10 tickets, and we bought $10 worth each. Lo and behold, Kaitlin (the luckier Walleye) heard her number called!

She was one of the later winners so didn’t have many options to choose from, but we came home with this breakfast platter of sausages, bacon, and eggs.

We at the eggs over our next few breakfasts, made the sausages one day for lunch, and used the bacon in some kimchi fried rice!
