Bula again! Time for another video showing off Fiji’s rugged natural beauty.
After a few days in Nadi, we took the Yasawa Flyer ferry to our next destination – the small, remote island of Nanuya Lailai (permanent population ~60) in the Yasawa chain. The ferry ride took about 5 hours, and went past many islands in the group. We were actually dropped off at the last outward stop on the ferry route, so pretty far out there!
We should also be more specific – we weren’t so much “dropped off” by the ferry as “transferred to a different, smaller boat” at the last stop. From there we had another (much shorter) ride to our final destination – the Sunrise Lagoon Homestay.
We originally planned to incorporate this footage into different videos; but on reviewing we decided this incredibly scenic ride deserved its own post. Enjoy!
